CheerQuest is a recognized Non-Profit (501c3) organization based out of Flossmoor, IL. Established in 2016, CheerQuest is powered by volunteers who are committed to propelling participants to be student-athletes, aware of the importance of scholarship as well as sportsmanship. We are also active participants of the Illinois Recreational Cheerleading Association (IRCA). Ninety-five percent of our participants reside in the Homewood Flossmoor community. However, our program is open to males and females, ages 5-18 in the Chicagoland South Suburbs with an unparalleled desire to learn and excel in the world of competitive cheer.
Performance Recreational Cheer (PRC) is defined as a competitive rec division that has level restrictions. PRC teams are NOT associated with a school program supporting a recreational team (i.e. youth football, pee wee sports, community sports teams, etc.). PRC would follow the same 2 and ½ minute routine format with cheer/sideline and music and all other rules and regulations. Teams in Performance Rec divisions often practice on average 2-3 times a week, have competition practices and/or compete on a regular basis.
I want to thank all the coaches and cheerleaders or welcoming my daughter to the team this year. Just moving back to the state was hard, but you made her as if she always belonged. From a mom that came from sideline cheer to competitive cheer it has a great experience. Thank you all. - Bonnie
