Coach Tiana Williams favorably known as Coach Tee began her development as an assistant coach for a Recreational League in Dolton, IL. Later she took on a position as Head Coach for 8 years and Director for 6 years with the United Youth Football & Cheer Program for HF Jr. Vikings. During her time as Director, she obtain 4 First Place Regional Titles, 3 First Place National Title, and 5 Second Place Regional/National Titles.
Coach Tee enjoys the special bond and camaraderie while coaching her cheer teams. She wants to promote cheer not just for competition but also for lifelong enjoyment. Besides the rules and skills, cheer will also teach the athletes life lessons such as Patience, Discipline, Integrity, Humility, and Accountability.
Coach Tee is as a Rich South Alumni & graduate from Ashford University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management and currently studying to receive her Master's Degree in Organizational Leadership. She has served as an IHSA member and cheer official and is CPR and First Aid Certified.
Katrina Bryant, known to most as "Coach Kat", started her journey with cheering at a very early age. She started cheering in grammar school, and continued onto high school and college. Her passion for cheering is so strong that after college she returned to her grammar school and became a coach. After several years of coaching, Coach Kat stepped away from cheering to get married and started a family. After having several years off she returned to the coaching world in 2012. In a short time Coach Kat has pushed her girls and received 1 First Place National Title, 1 Second Place National Title, 2 First Place Regional Titles, 1 Second Place Regional Title and 1 Third Place National title.
Coach Kat believes in meeting kids at their current level and developing them to their maximum potential. She holds a special place in her heart for kids. She believes that everyone can achieve, their goal, they just need good coaches to help them along the journey. Coach Kat is a graduate of Western Michigan University and Chicago State University and holds degrees in Community Health and Nursing.
Melva Stephenson, Coach Mel, has been a part of the competitive cheer and dance world since the age of 8. Her competitive experience spans from a recreational and school-based level of cheer and dance all the way to collegiate level. Her love of cheer, dance and all things spirit-related led her to continue in the field after her "retirement". She has coached intermittently since 1998. Her coaching accomplishments include several regional and national top three placements. Her desire is to see girls and boys continuously active and learning in a positive social environment keeps her motivated to do more and learn more in this constantly evolving sport we call CHEER!
Jessika Trotter has over 15 years of cheer, dance and tumbling experience. As a previous all-star cheer coach, she is excited about the new opportunity to build self-confidence, team building skills, and lasting relationships with this group of girls. She believes strongly in the need to mentor young girl’s positive experiences and looks forward to many years of working with the organization.
I want to thank all the coaches and cheerleaders or welcoming my daughter to the team this year. Just moving back to the state was hard, but you made her as if she always belonged. From a mom that came from sideline cheer to competitive cheer it has a great experience. Thank you all. - Bonnie
